WAR AT SEA 1939-45: Volume III Part I The Offensive 1st June 1943-31 May 1944 OFFICIAL HISTORY OF THE SECOND WORLD WAR
Captain Roskill has long been recognised as the leading authority on the Royal Navy’s part in the Second World War. His Official History (originally published for the HMSO) is unlikely ever to be superseded. His narrative is highly readable, and the analysis is clear. Roskill describes sea battles, convoy actions and the contribution made by technology in the shape of ASDIC and Radar.
We have taken the opportunity with our 2022 editions of the OFFICIAL HISTORY OF THE WAR AT SEA series to redesign the covers and print on 140g silk paper, and also to reproduce the numerous maps in full colour.
Overseas clients please note: Due to excessively high wrapped weight shipping is weighted on this title.
