MEMOIRS OF THE PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN THE CAMPAIGNS OF NORTH HOLLAND AND EGYPT (1799-1804)

£9.50

Published in association with The National Army Museum London, these are the memoirs of Major Francis Maule, who served on the staff of the disastrous Walcheren expedition of 1809, and in the more successful campaign against the French in Egypt. Published in 1816, this is one of the earliest accounts of two unfamiliar Napoleonic campaigns.
