LOTTA SVARD. Finnish Women’s Auxiliary Defence Service

A slim pamphlet, six pages, in English and German, giving a very short description of the Service with one or two b/w photos. The two centre pages depict 44 somewhat crude b/w drawings of awards, long service and specialist badges (rather like Boy Scouts proficiency badges) worn by members of the Women’s Service. Inside the back page is a colour plate illustrating about a dozen of them.
