£25.00 £8.99

Wellington’s Foot Guards at Waterloo is a definitive. and much-needed tribute to the 1st (Guards) Division in the Waterloo campaign. The book does not stop at the conclusion of the battle, but goes on to describe the actions of the 1st Division in the march to Paris, and the siege of Peronné. There are sixteen pages of illustrations (with nineteen full- colour images) and fifteen appendices, covering everything from monthly strength returns, to awards received, to promotions within the Guards in 1815. There is also a chapter providing mini-biographies of all Guards officers present in the campaign.
