KOREAN ATROCITY! Forgotten War Crimes 1950 - 53
RRP:
£19.99
OUR PRICE:
£6.95
This shocking book exposes the horrific torture and ill-treatment meted out to US and UK PoWs by the North Koreans and Chinese in the Korean War. Almost 8,000 Americans and 100 Britons were killed or disappeared after capture. in an episode that was hushed-up by the West and is only now being fully revealed.
This horrific book documents in remorseless detail the unpunished atrocities inflicted on United Nations troops - primarily Americans, but including Britons - in the Korean War of 60 years ago. Written from the perspective of the thousands of western servicemen taken prisoner during the conflict, the book documents their captivity and initial treatment, including routinely inflicted torture,, their shipment to camps in North Korea and China, and their eventual repatriation often two years after the war's end and with the exception of those who were murdered or ‘went missing'. Almost eight thousand Americans and 100 British servicemen were unaccounted for and must be assumed to have been killed by their cruel captors. This is a searing and truly shocking story - not least for its exposure of the US Government's cover-up of the whole appalling episode.
